Istanbul Real Estate Valuation

IGD (Istanbul Valuation) was established in year 2005, to provide real estate valuation, property valuation, machinery valuation, hotel feasibility and real estate consultancy services. Since 2006, it continues its activities under the title Istanbul Real Estate Valuation & Consulting Inc. IGD is a “Board Listed” valuation company by Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB) and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA).

IGD provides property valuation, machinery valuation, property consulting, project development, market research, feasibility studies, highest and best use analysis, real estate damage assessment, real estate legal consulting services, with its licensed valuers as well as a strong set of consultants comprising academicians providing scientific support.

IGD provides reporting compliant with International Valuation Standards (IVS).

Turkish Real Estate Market

Turkish economy underwent a substantial transformation in the last two decades. While experiencing structural transformations in the transition to free market economy, the economy was marred by high inflation environment, which fed significant instability. However, in the recent years Turkish economy achieved high growth rates coupled with a trend of disinflation. With the increasing confidence in the economy, foreign direct investments also grew, starting with the financial sector.

In a background of falling inflation figures, the financial system began to allocate larger sources for the financing of long-term fixed assets, and in particular, expanded the volume of credits allocated for real estate, starting with housing loans.
